Visit The Mall at Short Hills for the 6th Annual Style For The Cure in Support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey, October 1-31, 2008.

Throughout the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, for every Mall at Short Hills Gift Card purchased at Guest Services, The Mall at Short Hills will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey. As a thank-you, customers will receive a signature Mall at Short Hills pink ribbon t-shirt (while supplies last; one per customer).

To support Komen's educational outreach efforts, please visit an informational table on the lower level near Guest Services for educational literature from Komen for the Cure North Jersey. Komen representatives will be at the table from October 2-5 and each subsequent weekend thereafter through October.

In addition, The Mall at Short Hills will offer customers a take-one piece at Guest Services that details stores' fundraising efforts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month regardless of the breast cancer organization funds are being raised for. Some stores participating in such campaigns include Ann Taylor, California Pizza Kitchen, Coach, Lacoste, MaxMara, Moonstruck Chocolate Cafe, Movado, Optica, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora and Tiffany & Co.

Just as in years past, The Mall at Short Hills will again transform into a pink oasis in support of Style For The Cure. The Mall at Short Hills will again participate in the North Jersey Affiliate's Tie a Ribbon campaign, tying approximately 300 trees on the exterior of the shopping center with pink breast cancer awareness ribbons.

Customers will then enter The Mall at Short Hills greeted by Komen's signature icon, as large Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons will suspend above the canopy entrances on the JFK Parkway side of the shopping center. Once inside, customers will walk underneath scattered hanging pink ribbons. Pink floral beds will be in bloom throughout The Mall at Short Hills, and the end courts near Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus will feature a wall of exotic, fresh cut flowers all in tones of pink. Komen's "Journeys of Courage" floor banners will line The Mall at Short Hills, featuring compelling testimonials of Breast Cancer survivors.
